After Daddy Gave, we still have another step of receiving?
After Daddy gave us everything, we still have a questionable step of receiving. Shouldn't it be like the fruit of the spirit, after we have the spirit we automatically manifest fruits. Why do we seem to have another step of working to get our blessings?

i sorta remember pastor prince using this analogy of like, buying something and reading the instruction manual? OR STH LIKE IT. hhhaha ! i dont really remember? but its along the lines of the bible being out instruction manual? i suppose when we read the bible, we know more about God's word and then like, we receive more? maybe like when we read the bible, then we know that we can ask for wisdom! so we ask for wisdom and then as a result get wisdom. cos the bible says ask and you shall receive, right? but if we dont know about what we can receive, then we cant know that we have received?

makes it kind of cold doesnt it?
makes our relationship with god, as a ... i duno it just sounds like a transaction.
I wish i knew e bible better but off hand, jus thinking-
A father will be there to take care of you, give u what you need REGARDLESS of whether you ask.... one tt LOVES YOU SO MUCH especially...

ReplyDeletewe should just hold on to the fact that we are DEEPLY LOVED BY GOD AND JESUS DIED TO FIX OUR LIVES. thats it. how simple and easy. :)

ReplyDeletesometimes when i find myself getting frustrated about not receiving in a certain area, the best way to proceed is forget about that situation for a bit and listen/read God' Word. not necessarily looking for the solution to your problems/ways that will help us get the blessing, but just to soak in the presence of Jesus. after that, whether the blessing you seek comes or not, you come away changed. sometimes you get the blessing, sometimes you find that your perspective has changed and you no longer need the blessing. regardless, God will have worked.
So there seems to be a request for simplicity - so consider this old and simple notion - you can bring a donkey to the water but you cannot make it drink. God has given you everything, but it is in your part to stretch your hand out to receive it. It's nothing complex about it. And the reason why God has this system in place is because he respects our free will. He has all the presents laid out on the floor and it's for our picking. Yet if you do not wish to take from him he will still respect that choice you make.
ReplyDeleteAnd on the topic of the "instruction manual", it's not cold or anything like that. The main gift we all know that God has given us is Jesus Christ and our salvation through him. The "features" and all the little stuff we need to read about in the instruction manual is everything else.
ReplyDeleteWhen you purchase a product, knowing the main benefit is sufficient to "survive" - eg a car for getting you from place A to B. But as we know, God is never satisfied with giving us so little and wants to prosper us beyond all that we hope or think of. So he installs all the features - the little things like aircon, radio, sunroof and the crazier stuff that you hope for such as batmobil functions, transformer functions. And then even more! Anything your imagination can stretch you to. God has limitless power. We humans limit it(:
And it's not a "you don't know the features then too bad" kinda thing. God sincerely honestly definitely wants you to know the features. He will always try to reveal stuff in your life through various methods. Through little miracles, through friends, etc all to induce interest so you want to find out more. And then he smacks you with even more blessings.
